Natural Materials
Gospel Bee candles are made from the finest quality natural materials. We use sustainably sourced 100% beeswax and square braided pure cotton wick.
Our beautiful beeswax is sourced from suppliers with their base in Kenya. They deliver the very best quality sustainably sourced beeswax, whilst supporting communities and enabling them to thrive, in turn helping us to create truly natural ethical candles supported by supply transparency and prioritising sustainability.
Our square braided pure cotton wicks are hand-dipped, and carefully tested and selected, to choose the best match for each candle.
Beeswax sourced from wild bees
Gospel Bee uses beeswax produced in East Africa by wild bee broods whilst making honey, with the bees free to roam and forage seasonal flora and fauna.
The majority of the bees live in traditional bark hives that hang in the treetops. These hives are located across agricultural land, in or near national parks, forests and on small holdings. The traditional light touch method means minimal intervention and enables the bees population to be naturally robust and healthy.
Beeswax is a natural by-product of honey production by bees, making it a sustainable and renewable resource, with beekeeping being a sustainable activity which contributes to agriculture and increases biodiversity via bee pollination, all helping support the well-being of our planet.
Our Packaging
Gospel Bee candles are delicately wrapped in soft tissue paper and nestled in natural wood wool. Every detail is styled by hand, creating a handcrafted, artisan finish.
We’re committed to using eco-friendly packaging wherever possible — because thoughtful craftsmanship extends beyond the candle itself.
